Built corvette !

This is unusual, with so many kits out there, we dont see many finished models ~ and Sure not many Corvettes.

This one looks Very clean and recently built, still has the box, leftover wood, plans !

Compared to those two rotten 63 footers that are up for Rediculous prices, this looks like it actually be a useable modle..

Hmmmmmmmm........

Maybe Wifey would liek to but me a little boat model for Xmas !

I used to have one of those. The Hull was very similar, but the Hull opening was farther back. Also my stern was a little different, obviously set up for a small outboard. I believe these probably built from plans out of a magazine.Tether boat would be my guess to. Mine was constructed with copper brads. Bought it at a going out of business sale at a antique shop for $17 :-) , sold it for grocery money about a year ago for $60, wish I still had it, neat old boat.

No, probably not a tether boat as it has a 'rudder set' device on the stern (even though she has lost her rudder). Her 'steps' are similar to the designs of competitive speedboats prevalent during the 20's and early 30's. Also, her nailed construction would point to that period as well.

I'd agree with predreadnut that she is probably a home-built freestyle speedboat from plans with mail order fittings.
