I scored today.

New in Box OS FS40M, MARINE 4 stroke boat motor.

What do you guys think the maximum size model Chris Craft boat would be for this motor to power?

I have a 48 inch Corvette or the (Dumas) 36 inch Chris Craft Commander #1244

You wonder what the odds are that this Catalina kit will actually get built and made to run. Or will it get carefully put in someone's secret stash under the stairs to be built "someday?" Sound familiar?

It appears that one of the expensive motor yachts on eBay has garnered no bids and two offers. I'd like to know how much the offers were for.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Unimat-DB-20...item1c2cf6ab48 this one need a little more tlc, but the dividing head and power feed are worth half the price before the lathe.. If I wasn't slush fund poor I'd have this and part it out for twice that price.. forgot the steady rest included,

Or, someone being weary of all the Cat's being built would use the kit to make a similar, but more unusual example...

Tim, that's a great boat! Boat = BIG$$$ + Outboards(x2) = BIG $$$ boat and motors together = $$$$$!!! She does appear to need a little TLC though. I would love to RC on of these, but its just too much money. After closer inspection, it appears to be missing its windshield and the antenna(?) that fits into the chrome piece on the side of the cabin. Also someone has added some non stock items, like the foot pad, antenna, and figure. Funny, the figure reminds me of the fire inspector character Jim Carey used to do.

Speaking of the stash under the stairs, I'm no longer sure of exactly what I have down there---.
