Predecessor to the Catalina. That kit looks like one of my first e-bay disasters. Unlike the one being currently offered, I got a set of plans and very little printwood and some other scraps in the box. It was an estate sale, so they claimed that they didn't know what the contents of the deceased's kit box should have looked like.

Made the same mistake on a Sterling Fokker DVII kit too. Now, I make sure I know what is supposed to be in the box and whether it is all actually in the box being offered for sale.

Always risky, some of these sellers are expert at taking pics in poorly lit areas and are evasive about questions, alarms otta go off for the buyer !

There had been a Corvette up for about a week, B.I.N. of $500.00, it went shortly after the one above sold..

$500. is toooo much, even if complete.

Craig, yes, the economy must be perking up, as Microglass' sales have increased noticeably for the first time in over a year.

Don't know about these old wood kits on Fleabay though, old wood is old wood---.

As for these old kits, some are boxes of dust and it appears that some have kept thier integrity ~ maybe some people just want the plans ?
