That is really great. Are the canards used for pitch control?

Thanks guys for your congrats!

The green dot is also light flicker, it must come from my Cockpit blinking lights they´re in the same cable to my Lighting module, see it not because our Cam is in the frame rate of it...

Yes the Canards are mixed up down elevator and since yesterday also mixed to the Aileron Control, because second Servo installed.

Here are a pair data:

The fans are from us modified ~Stage2~ "BVM look" ones
We get around 6kg + of thrust from each at ~ 85A at full throttle in the Air, ~ 98A and short peaks of 107A at ~ 23.000 RPM on Ground.

Out dia 115mm and getting around 350+ kph Airflow on Ground.

Motor is a 14 poles Outrunner 600kV and ESC a 80HV+ Graupner Compact Controll (with a pair of 3 additional LOW ESC 50V 220yF capacitor and anti spark plug) .
I use two pairs of 5000mAh 30C/40C 12S Lipo at the moment and getting around 5.30-6.00 min flight time.

this Typhoon looks killer, sounds killer and flies killer...............an incredible package/combination. I think you've got guys lining up for wanting one of their own. including me! LOL. got any plans for kitting, or plans to make our own, etc? I think we're all drooling in anticipation here.

Wow, I'm just blown away by this one! Looks absolutely awesome and it has sounds and performance to match. When I saw that runway on the video I thought how this big bird is going to sit on that on landing but obviously you guys know how to fly and know what you are doing. Landings look so gracefully.

This certainly worked as huge motivation boost to me. Keep up the amazing job your doing

Thanks guys for the honor

Hope that the weather will be very soon better, to get this bird once more in the air and can test the new adjustments.

@Gianluca

Yes it is. The only ESC besides Turnigy Monster (so hifei could also be the deal, but Monster is to heavy and the failure when you get one is too high) that spins the motor correct at this RPM and Volts, that we have tested...besides Kforce, Robbe brushless Control,...

Hehe...yeah I know that it´s only around 70m long and 4m width.
Normaly I touch down also on it But in the last flights this was not working with the Typhoon Think it is our grown big tree in the approach path

have you thought about selling plans for the plane, with perhaps molded pieces, such as the nose cone and cockpit glass, etc.? it would save you money over a complete kit, plus you'de make some money back from your investment in the project so far. there's a few of us that would want one of these. LOL. I would love one in this size and I'de rather build than buy a kit. not sure if this is a glass fuse, or built up, but we'de love more info on your big, beautiful bird you've got there.

Amazing model indeed. What comes to fuselage, at least those pictures at first posts seemed that fuselage is build laminating glass on mold and then he layed balsa over the glass to give fuselage overall sandwich construction. So in other words, you need fuselage molds if you want to build exact same plane

Thx guys for the positive response!

Have updates on the Typhoon. Have flown it again yesterday (weather is very bad here in Germany the last days..weeks) at perfect weather conditions.

Have now more power around plus 1.5 kg static and so also more airflow out of the thrust tube. Get more air in the intake of the fans...so more high speed and power in turns.

The Canards are now working with elevons and ailerons. It works great and get it a little nose heavier. So it fly´s now nearly perfect only on the elevons it´s extremely sensitive thinking of get a bit more expo on it.

Video is uploading...so keep on waiting...

and here is it...:
