Sir Talon where's the CG .? Planning to build one too but how do I hide the electronics in the saucer to keep things clean? Also should I leave the pylons with or without rudder function? Thanks . Hope you can post some plans soon

A very light, vacuum-formed compartment could be made to house servos and other things (might help with the CG issue also)... you could also make some 3D parts that would act as stiffeners in certain key areas while enhancing the look.

Just day dreaming, but I would love to help out & mess around with it a little.

I actually had considered making the saucer more layers than i did for that purpose, but i was worried it might change the flight characteristics.

I definitely would not add any more weight to the back of the ship. It is pretty tail heavy. I don't think that a rudder is needed. It works great as a aileron elevator plane.

You can certainly try some modifications though. I am getting ready to release the plans. Just have to get past some other non-fun work first.

My main thought was to add a light, molded piece to the center of the disk on the bottom and/or top.

I also have a near-full box of MPF, and this might make good use of it!

Final Kit almost ready!!!

I think i am about ready to release the final kit for the Enterprise-A!!

My buddy Rasterize really outdid himself this time with the skins too. They really are amazing.

Getting the kit ready to show off at the Toledo RC show this weekend. Got the parts built this week, tonight i skinned the whole thing. It really is looking great.

Changed a few things. The main thing is making the lower hull horizontal bigger and increasing the size of the elevator. The original was just a little too small. I didn't like the response i got from the totally scale one so this will be much more effective. After the Toledo show i will get some flying in.

So come see me on Saturday at the show and we can talk about it!!

Just weighed the skinned plane. No motor or radio gear in it yet and the airframe weight is 8.8 ounces. Pretty light considering it has all the skins on it!

Very happy with how this one is turning out. Kits should be available very soon. Just need to do some final tweaking on the skins and foam and it will be ready.

Dennis,
You really need a better backdrop for photos. Dark with sparkles. Makes the foam really stand out can similulate a star field. They have it at Joans Fabric.
