Cool
Anyone see this one yet ?????

CrazyBall rc plane....

I found these on e-bay and couldn't resist so I ordered a kit and put in my own power/rc system in it. 10x4 prop,24g 1600kV motor,1300 3 cell and four 3.7g servos. ailerons are mixed to all four servos, elevon mix and a mix to tie in both rudder halfs. What a trip to fly, I'm glad I painted the top side...this from tonite after I got it trimmed out

HOLY! What took so darn long? I knew it was coming..... I had that same idea awhile back for a scratchbuild but it never came to fruition. I feel really smart now

Looks like it'll be hard to break a prop on that thing How's it fly?

Cool! It makes me want to put a VPP in it, plus for some reason 8 carbon rods sticking out in different directions, each with a ping pong ball at the end.

No way.. a few superbright LEDs and you instantly have a reason to be arrested for building and flying a mock UFO!

not as much as you would think, actually very easy to fly. Putting some color on the top half makes orientation a lot easier. It will knife edge (if you could call it that...) very easily. Interesting flying a totally symmetrical "object".

I finally found them on Ebay.

Now the video was a hoot to watch. I thought it was very interesting and looks easy to fly, but that is just me, l could be all wet.

Not necessary: http://maxxprod.com/mpi/mpi-29a.html

For that plane, a Himax HC2808-0980 would be more than enough go, and with VPP, it would be a real ball

I had to try it out with lights......orientation is challenging but fun. I think I over amp'ed the motor at the end of the flight.....will be changing out for a CF2228 that can handle the amps.............

Night flying CrazyBall (1 min 1 sec)
