mig 35 epp from nesail
i just recieved the mig-35 epp prop jet from northeast sailplane products, has anybody had any experiences with this plane? It looks really good, the foam parts are precise, and it looks like i wont have to do any sanding other than finishing. I am thinking speed 480, (or the kyosho ap29l i have on hand) on 8x600AE with a 6x3 prop? the AUW should be around 20oz, so i am expecting the performance to be noticeably better than a zagi, but not super fast. what do you guys think? ill be using a castle creations 35 amp or fma mini 20 esc, two hs-81's, and a hitec pcm reciever, just to give you an idea for the weight. It will be flown with elevons only with a hitec prism 7x tx.

Dan,
The AP29 will not work, that motor most definatly needs a gearbox. If you are looking at a SP480BB Race motor then you can run no more then a 4.75X4.75. What I have found to work great is the P480 (long Can 400) on ten cells. Look forward to see you up at the field with it. Cheers, Jim |
