Hi i suppose this MDF and is laser cut ? I built with MDF and the more expert people here think is not the best for RC use in water (i think i agree after some experiments!!). Can you enlighten us please?

It is not a kit, I did the hulls by scratch;

the up part is cutted by lazer

Interesting build. The superstructure looks almost exactly like the Happy Hunter. The hulls shape is similar with the exception of the bulb at the bow, the bow shape, and the curvature in the rear bilge area.

I noticed where your shafts are and I am curious how the props or cort nozzles will work with that placement.

yes it will be longitudinal and, the prop will be 75mm 4 blade.

Ahhh ok that makes sense. I noticed in the picture with the superstructure sitting on the hull there is a picture on the wall. Looks like a Hunter, but in Maersk colors. Is this a preview of the finished product? I found the same pic on another website.

yes it will be blue and white. I intend to place a sound system using mp3 ans a servo, and smoke system.

So far the weight its 8.5 kilos and the up structure is 2.1 kilo.

Looking good. If the superstructure is sitting on the hull where it will be on the finished model, the aft deck immediately behind the structure looks alittle short. This is the same deck where the crane would go, lifeboat and spare anchor. Just my observation, it could be the angle of the pic also.
