RC-Power 801BC and charg NIMH
I need some help for my RC-Power 801BC I bought it used without software and manual, this is the first I am missing so if you hold this or know where I can get it, I would be very happy .
I've tried to charge my Esky 8.4 V 650 mAh NiMH batteries with it when I have flown with them and my helicopter can not facilitate more I put them into the charger but the charger writes that it has not allowed more than just about the 300 mah battery power, I then tried to cycle on them 5 time first dcharg and then charge five times, this gives the result that it write that I pull more out of it than there is getting in, it says that is dcharg 480 and charge around the 300 when it's finished and I try to fly on the battery, the results is that it cannot lift off, two of batteries are brand new and two of them about 2 years old but the problem is on all of them, hope there is someone there can help with this problem.

Your first post is a little difficult to understand, so that may be the reason for no replies.
Do you have much experience with charging Nimh? If not, have a browse around for "how to's."
- What charge rate did you set? Too fast will heat the cells too much. Too slow and the charger may miss the "peak." For your 650mah cells, I'd try .45 up to .65 amps. If they get too hot, lower the charge rate.
- What delta V did you set? (The amount of voltage drop the charger looks for to detect when the cells are nearly full.) I set mine low as possible. Too high will overcharge, too low will under charge.
- What discharge rate and voltage did you set? Too high (for the pack) and the cell voltage will sag to the cut off voltage.
Of course, it is possible that your batteries, charger or charge leads are not working correctly. I've had a few older nimh packs have a dead cell in them.
Good luck, let us know how you get on. It really IS possible to fly with nimh still.
