Did you know Kansa means "People of the South Wind"? And in the land of the People of the South Wind, it has been blowing from dead south 15-25 m.p.h. all day. Great slope weather, if there was actually a slope anywhere.

Had to go to Independence, today. East to get there, West to get back, 30 miles each way. It was like steering uphill both ways.

hmmm...you should build a wooden frame in the shape of a ramp, and make about 5 of them 20ft. across. Put some plastic tarps over the frames to smooth it out, add some stairs to get to the top of the ramps, and Voila! an artifical slope!
