Can't do vids. But I can (and will!) take pictures.

Not that you would know the difference between a finished plane NOW as opposed to one I used to fly and left up in Kansas.

Radian decided to be a pure glider today, and threw the prop waaaay out into the marsh. Glad I got a spare!

I would think a rocket motor wouldn't go where the prop was!

Unless you're trying to turn it into a canard. Rubber band the wings on "backwards" I guess.

If you put it where the prop was and pointing the same direction, I think all it would do is burn up the GL!

I do t wanna hear about thread lock. ESPECIALLY since my workplace seems to have stock in LocTite. I swear my hands are purple each afternoon.

Owl, What's that gotta do with the GL? Rubber bands? Sure that last mouse was Kosher?

Although that DOES give me an idea. I wonder how much work it would be to make a canard pusher Radian. Cap'n? It would be a LOT, I think. I'd have to re-cut the wing slots to fit the backward foil, I'd have to cut off and relocate the V-Stab. I think the only easy part would be flipping the H-stab. But I'd sure be able to get a bigger prop on it, backwards! He he he!

Do it! Just make sure that the canard has a few degrees of positive angle of attack relative to the wing.

Figuring out the CG is up to you, though. But it will probably be close to the leading edge of the wing, if not further forward.
