OK, I'm Back, It took me awhile to escape from the squirrels. I do't think they know about this place.

I was going to build my own, but yes, you gave me the idea of using an EZ-UP canopy as the frame.

Thanks!

I was bad. I sniped a DVD with 17 seconds to go on eBay.

Not really, man. I don't like it when someone does it to me. I shouldn't be doing it to other people.

It's nothing personal. If somebody really wanted the item, they should have bid more $.

I suppose that's true. The ones that really annoy me are the ones who wind up bidding something up beyond what you can go to a retail outlet and buy it new for. I see them do that all the time on balsa wood. I don't even bother looking for deals anymore. I don't think I have ever seen balsa go cheaper on eBay that it would cost to order it from LoneStar or National balsa, or sometimes even Sig.

I saw some odds and ends of Sig balsa once (couple of triangular stock, couple of trailing edges, couple of spruce sticks, couple of leading edges). By the time the bidding got done, it was over $25, not counting shipping, and anybody could have ordered packs of the same shapes from Sig and could have made up three bundles exactly for the same $25 he had just paid, with some left over!

Well N'O, there's your new get-rich-quick scheme. Buy a bunch of balsa, repackage it into small bundles, and sell them on eBay for loads of money! And don't forget to have an absurdly high shipping price, so that you reduce the seller fees.
