If you see a soaring raptor around here, it's a redtail until proven otherwise.

In the same area I saw a Kestrel snatch a field mouse not more than 10 feet away and fly up in a tree right next to me and start to devour it. After it ripped it's nose off and I heard the poor little thing squeal I decided to move on.

Big speaker reminds me of the Mythbusters episode with goofy-fabricated giant speaker that self destructed.

Also reminds me of back on the day when I was heavily into car audio and a huge array of 4" woofers blew away bigger ones.

So back to fish and birds and the only reason they exist...BBQ!!!

Lil' S...have you brined and cooked your bird yet?

(hmm... brined comes up as misspelled. computers suck. Now trying to google brined and Shockwave Flash, whatever that is, has crashed so I can't even find out how to spell brine+ed=brined))

I saw a Coopers Hawk nail a Sparrow in my backyard. He gave it the death grip until it stopped moving before he started eating it. I scared him off because I didn't want to clean up all the feathers.

Once when I was walking into an auto parts store a dead Pigeon fell out of nowhere and landed right in front of my feet. When I looked up I saw a Redtail standing on the roof of the building.

OK Mr. U, I'm gonna guess you're a KISS Fan, right? (new album loooks good)

Also, shouldn't you be doing homework or a science project or cooking your poor ol' Dad's dinner?

Just asking...

City, no. I never replaced the green duck. I'll pull out a chicken, thaw it tonight, brine it tomorrow, and smoke it wednesday, barring schedule changes.
