plane_tech,

Glad to hear you're still with us and on the road to recovery. How's about paper airplanes off the balcony?

Wow Plane Tech, hate to say it, but welcome to the club!

I just passed the 1 year mark on my HA & am pretty much back to normal, just have to exercise more and on a regular basis. Just say NO to Fat, Sugar & Salt and you're half way there on a good diet.

Glad you quit the Habit, now to get on the good exercise Habit! Stick with it and you'll be OK.

And I just got back from a BBQ with 50/50 burgers.

PT, make sure those paper planes don't have anything on them to connect back to you, the thrower.

Here's a good design: nice and floaty, easy to fold, and it's not sharp.

That's one of Noel's favorite paper planes, the Nakamura Lock.

Golly. Those ground loops can be killer. I 'looped the SE today-- cracked the fuse, dislocated three fuse formers, and removed a wing dowel. It hit hard enough to shift the lens inside the 808 video cam. Now I need to upload the videos, fix the cam, and fix a plane.

Thank goodness that the silk was undamaged, and no damage is under it!

Dayum, PT!

Glad to hear you came through it. Got a few friends who swear by their stents.

I'm sure the acronyms have been telling you, it's not just diet, exercise and bad habits... especially at your age. . You need to learn to get rid of some STRESS!

Considering my friend once told me the Dan Tabor diet was cigarettes, coffee and fingernails... I don't have a lot of advice in that respect.

Hang in there, and especially stay off the coffin nails!

Thanks Owl. Its been 4 days since I had one. The longest time in 18 years since that has happened. Yes, stress is a major contributing factor, but the family history was what made them go with the cath instead of the nuclear stress test. And to be honest, I am glad they skipped it and went straight for the fix.
While the no smoking thing is tough, its harder just to sit around and do nothing. I just tried to swiffer the kitchen... I had to take a nap after and I wasn't even moving fast. I used to hold up the couch while I vacuumed under it...

I know it will come back, its just going to be a challenge to get there.

Here's my first onboard video, taken from the nose of the Spirit E. It's kinda bouncy. Now I know that I bank WAY too hard. It was pretty hard to see from the ground-- I thought I was doing pretty good!
