Man, work sucks so bad tonight... I'm about ready to quit.

Maybe time to start looking around again.

No. It's a clinician dictating who sounds like he swallowed the microphone and is on a roller coaster. This would be dictation with 5 minutes let in my work week. (Believe it or not, there are some who dictate while they are riding the commuter train home from Boston. And it's OBVIOUS they're on the train.)

Man, in healthcare documentation, Doctors are Gods.

Doesn't matter how hard they make our jobs, if our jobs aren't right, it's our problem. The transcriptionists just all get together and complain to each other about particular doctors and what jerks they are. But, especially as I contract for an agency, any personal comunication to a doctor from me, especially one criticizing their dictation style, would get me blackballed from the business.

If we're really lucky and have a really, really good Medical Records administrator at the hospital, occasionally THEY can confront a doctor and say "Hey,, you know why your reports always have blanks in them?" And in a perfect world, the Chief of Staff of the Hospital backs them up. (Not that I've ever actually seen that, mind you.)

Gimme their names, and I'll send them a letter. Maybe I'll also include a baggie of dog poop. I promise not to use your name.

Mimi DLG: Born Monday, October 4, 2010. Died Wednesday, October 6, 2010

Cause of death: Rudder quit, floated onto freeway offramp

Well my poor Mimi finally had it's last flights today. It flew wonderfull though! I caught a booming thermal and got a 2 minute flight. I decided to throw her one more time before I left, so I did, thinking nothing of it. Well as I was pusing the stick to the left, I noticed that it didn't turn. Did it to the right, same thing . I only had elevator movement, so I tried to stall her out and see if it would turn around. Howevr due to it's stability, it just kept flying over the field and soon over the freeway. It hit a rotor and down she went, waving goodbye on the offramp . There was nothing left, the wing was in sticks, the servos massacured, and the rest was history. No reciever or battery was found. Maybe, just maybe, she wasn't meant to be...

I got two flights on a little Spitfire once, too.

Condolances in your time of grief,

thanks guys. It was a tragic death, she died slowly right in front of me, almost brought a tear to my eye . But I've pretty much let her go now, she's in a better place...

Anyways, I hope to get some more materials and try again. I love the DLG thing, especially since the wind hasnt been cooperating. Just need to find the extra cash and motivation again...

^ That's the spirit. I oft times have to remind myself that it's not wise to get too attached to something you're going to throw off a cliff.
