I haven't spent all of my paycheck yet, so.....

... why dontcha bring a Monarch kit with you to the slope today, and I'll buy it off ya. I'll stop by Hobby People on the way there to pick up some HS-82's for it. You realize, of course, that this means Ill be upset with you for forcing me to add one more plane to my build queue...

Ok sounds good. But, I am open for trade, and I need some carbon spars for my last Monarch kit and the 60" prototype I'm working on. So tell you what, bring all the carbon you've got and I'll see if you've got any of the spars I need (I dont need a lot). If I can find what I need, I'll deduct the price of the carbon out of the Monarchs total cost (if you have all the Carbon I need, I'll just give the Monarch to ya ). Sound fair?

What kind of carbon? Gyro Hobbies sells 1/4" thin-wall carbon tubes for $2 (when they have them in stock). I can stop by there on the way to Hobby People. If they're out, I can bring a some of my own.

I don't have any kind of ribbon spars, and Gyro charges loads of $$$ for them.

From Hobby people I need the .210OD x 40" from Midwest (x2) and I'm not sure about my 60" Monarch, I was thinking 2 carbon strips about 1/4" wide one in each wing, and a third to re-inforce the middle. Either that or 2 tubes per wing and a slightly bigger carbon tube that can slide over the smaller ones and join them together with Epoxy. What do you think is better?
