No, it's actually a Mark Grand-designed Scorpion. It just bears a strong resemblence to Bob Martin's SR7.

KPV,
Nice job on the SR7! 'Though it clearly violates the intent of this thread, I'll be looking forward to a detailed flight report.

Kirk (needs to finish up his F-20) out

Kansas has MANY birds. Wiki lists 433 species of birds that are native to Kansas, including 11 species of owls. I've seen bald eagles and more buzzards than I want to shake a stick at. (Unless it's a 12-gauge stick. ) These ugly bads have a 6-foot wing span, stand over 2 feet tall when they're standing on the ground, picking at some roadkill. They act pretty fearless about cars, and you have to be cautious when approaching one over a kill on the highway, because they might not move until you actually hit one. And that's a big animal to be hitting at 60 m.p.h. (Yes, this is the voice of experience.)

One of the most common birds I see in my area, outside of several hundred unnameable small songbird-types, are red-tailed hawks. They're all over around here.

Around here, any soaring raptor is a "red-tail until proven otherwise."
