Forgot about the Outer Zone. Had it in my favorites and had an OS crash. Hard to remember all the links to all the saved pages. Thanks for reminding me!

Model Airplane Course for Beginners from MAN 1947

At jflint5429's request, I have scanned lesson 1 (MAN May 1947), lesson 2 (June), lesson 5 (September) and lesson 6 (October). Lesson 3 (July) was posted by 50+airyears.

Wow! I'e seen many post asking about when the first electric powered model flew. Who would have thought it was by Gustav Trouve in 1887 (Page 2 Lesson 1)!
This thread is a wealth of information.
Now, if someone can find Lesson 4. And any thing from Lesson 7 up, if there was such a thing.

Model Airplane Course for Beginners Lesson 3 MAN July 1947

Lesson 3 scanned and compiled into a single file. In a few days, I will have the
Aug 1947 MAN with lesson 4 and the Nov 1947 issue which may have a lesson 7. There is no beginners lesson in the Dec 1947 MAN.

Ercoupe by Morris Mountjoy MAN Sep 1947

Nice C/L Ercoupe for "Class A" motors (probably .15 to .19). Could be converted to EP RC. Span is 34 3/8".

It sure looks like there should be a plate 2.
with maybe a missing fuselage bulkhead or two on it.
