It's looking like it's a little tail heavy and I may have to add some nose weight. I did extend the fuse about 5/8" as my gut told me it would be an issue with the light motor. I should have gone closer to an inch. Right now it's balancing about 50% of chord. Most of my other FF planes with the airfoiled stabs seem to balance near the 50% mark.. We'll see this Saturday if the weather is good. The structure isn't to fragile, the cruthc wat built with 1/6"x3/16" and all the formers were 1/16" sheet. It's covered in Esaki tissue then 2 coats of thinned dope. I coverd in the brick but I'm thinking I may havve to cut away a section of covering and add an access hatch. The battery will just velcro under the nose as far forward as I can get it. Il'l try and get video if I can fly it this weekend. It was a fun build.

Naw, 5/8 is plenty. An inch wouldn't have preserved the look of it like you did. We have a cheap copy shop here and I think I have it at about 3-4 sizes. I might have to think about putting in a brick like yours.

This one is a solid model for display. I guess if you put enough power on it you could fly it.

Updated the Aviatik-Berg D-1 Model Builder plans with a covering Color scheme on the plan as an option.Nothing else. I think the plan is enhanced. The original is still there also.

Looks like Ben Buckle Kits sells Matador kits and plans. I don't know about its copyright situation but I haven't seen a high quality download for it either. There's a couple of small plan images in this thread. Page 20, I think.

Very well made ​​and deleted the plan Gentle Lady sir orange & white.
I know it is not yet available, although in old model from the company.
