Help!
Flash Updater V2.2 for Graupner XD6

Jim.

Today i tried to update my Graupner XD-6 Transmitter and my three XR-6 Receivers from V3.7.to V3.8 (Updater V2.2).

All flash processes worked fine, no error message.

After flashing the transmitter shows correctly V3.8 but all receivers show still V3.7.

Any advice?

Did you remove the old software before installing V2.2?

Sounds like you are using the older updater by mistake.

No, i didnīt remove any software.
I installed the lastest xdp version and then ran the "updater v2.2.exe" file.

Was that wrong? I also found that after running the updater file the headline still shows version 2.1.

If it says, v2.1 then that is what you are running (not v2.2).

I downloaded the "updater v2.2.exe" file directly from your homepage and immediately ran the exe-file.
The headline of the updater still shows V2.1.
Very mysterious.
Concerning "bruff"s post: do i have to remove any software before installing the new xdp version?

Anyway, if it really was the 2.1 version it should also update to v3.8. But this doesnīt work. What can i do?

I did it just to make sure all the old version was removed. Not sure you have to.

It should show the version as v2.21

... uups, sorry Jim, you are absolutely right.

I misread the headline and skipped the "2" behind the dot.

Meanwhile Graupner told me that version 2.2. ist not suitable for the XR-6 3-channel receiver.

Can you confirm that? That would explain the whole thing.

Thx, good advice. I will try that and reinstall the software for future updates.

Does your receiver have a RED/GREEN/BLUE LED or does it have just the RED/GREEN LED?

Jim,

i have problems with the Flash Updater V2.2, too. I canīt update my Satellite. Every time i try i get an error.

To put in programming mode i do this:

press and hold the programming button while turning on the power. There will be a brief pause and then the LED will light up orange. Release the programming button and receiver should then ready to connect.

Connecting to the XDP software is no problem.

By the way. What is the difference between the updater 2.1 and 2.2?

regards
Martin

Not sure why there is an issue with the satellite receiver, but there has not been an update in a very long time, and there likely will not be any updates for the original hardware we have produced.
