Ding Ding!! We have a winner! 3,5,7 is the combo!!!!! Thanks everyone for your help. I hear you Heli, I have looked hi and low for any kind of instructions for this radio. Nada. By the way, 3,5,7 works for both the 120 and the MCX2.
I think 7 is controlling the throttle?

Binding Process:
First power up your RX in Bind Mode (install Bind Plug, if applicable). To enter bind mode with the transmitter, pull the trainer (TRAINER) switch toward the front of the transmitter, then, while holding the trainer switch forward, power the transmitter on. Youíve successfully entered bind mode when the transmitter beeps and the red LED located under the door on the bottom left front of the transmitter blinks
rapidly. You can release the trainer switch after the transmitter stops beeping and the transmitter will remain in bind mode until the binding process is complete. Then, once the orange LED on the receiver glows solidly, the receiver is bound to the transmitter. Now you will need to power down the transmitter and receiver. (Remove Bind Plug from RX, if applicable).

From what i've read for the 120 to work (as i don't have a HP6DSM)
it looks like there are two types of HP6DSM
1/ HP6DSM
needs dipswitch 4 up and the rest down

2/ HP6DSM BLADESR logo
needs dipswitch 3 and 7 need to be up and the rest down

Whoa little doggie. I just had another look at those pics. Check out the top knobs on that TX. My left knob is fully turned CCW and my right knob fully turned CW. Also, it looks like the markings for the settings are different as well.

Danny, it looks like that manual is for the SR. If you look at the pic in the manual it's stamped right on the TX "HP6DSM SR." I have heard that these TX's are set up different from the other HP6DSM TX's. No? This whole thing is ready to make my head explode I can't even imagine what it's like setting up a DX6i

This is the radio that I bought.

Came from a RTF cp pro 2. Great seller by the way, packed the radio up like a pro.

Came from a RTF cp pro 2. Great seller by the way, packed the radio up like a pro.[/ The only real clear image is the "5.0v" in that pic I'm still trying to figure out "why" the different settings?

OK, on my packing box it reads: HP6DSM 6-Channel, 2.4GHz DSM2: BCPP2 (stock # EFLH1056).
Sorry I screwed up the quote..

The first time I turned on the dx6i and scrolled through all the "Adjust" and "Setup" screens it was intimidating. But after putting in John Salt's basic settings and successfully flying with them I could relax and start thinking about what it all means. There is also a "Monitor" screen that lets you "bench fly" and see what the control surfaces are doing as you make changes to the various settings; that takes a lot of the mystery out of it. This is the only programmable tx I've ever handled, but I'm getting more comfortable every time I turn it on. In the end you are still dealing with two sticks, one for up and down and round and round, and the other for front to back and side to side.

Craig, did it come with a box with all the numbers as I indicated in my previous post? If not, can you see the knob settings on the pic I provided? Do they look the same as yours. This is bugging the heck out of me as to why yours sets up different than mine. I won't be able to sleep tonight
