Ah! Got it figured out. Here's the Excel formula:

=-1822.8*(A2*A2)+(12346*A2)-20326

A2 is post-flight voltage (enter it).

It's good to know we have some brains around here...lol. Don't count on me with these formulas. I suck at math to a point. I just watch what was put back into the batt, and, if I'm satisfied, so is the batt.

BUT, as I get into 3S 1300mah, first charge will be a single batt balance charge and not parallel. I'll be paying closer attention...heck, $24.00 batteries Got two for Christmas

Mike.

That works too. In the words of Euclid, "There's more than one way to skin a cat." (did he really say that? I dunno, go ask him )

btw I tried a linear equation but it didn't fit the curve nearly as well. I'll fool around with some more polynomials and see what works best.

the post that you mention tells you everything you need to know - the body is from Eflite/Horizon and was made for the CX2.
If you want to find one of these, how about you put CX2 jet ranger in google?? (and I bet you get more results than countable ...)
Also, someone just offered EIGHT of these for sale in the classifieds (I think yesterday, even in different colors!)

Good luck with "your" search ...
Edit: sorry, I should have left the "" out, but ... the answer is kind of really too obvious in the post you mention ...

Thanks for the welcome Chap...and I have a pretty thick skin...lol....
My experience began when a mate of mine gave me a 3ch toy heli...that got me interested. 2months of reading and research led me to get a Blade 450 RTF....with included DX6i...and a 120SR BNF. I started with Phoenix sim...spent hours on it with all the helis. Then read and followed ALL this thread...don't really feel all that new to it now...lol.
I have Salts ebooks...and have been through them a number of times...and as far as lipos....Salt has a good section on his website...and have pulled info from a few sites....and will go to your recommended site as well..thanx for that.
As far as the flying goes...I started slowly with the 120SR and got hovering and stability under control..getting turns and fig8s happening..at a leisurely pace. Coped with pendulum effect and a little TBE. I dont have any indoor room to speak of so I have an MCX2 and aV911 for indoors....the 450 stays in the box for the moment ! Because of the winds here....I usually get down to the local park at 6am....getting snooty looks from the dog walkers..lol...but I fly from the cricket pitch area in the centre...plenty of room....I'm thinking anothe couple of months and I'll strap the training gear onto the 450 and begin. Min the mean time....the 120SR is a constant source of fun and intrigue....I feel like I know all you guys already.... all the best

I plugged that formula in and it told me that it's gonna rain tomorrow. What did I do wrong?

I think I need to tweak it a little more to make it sunny and 0 mph winds.

I have to agree with you, Luck. Can't tell if you are experienced heli guy, but you do realize that there are alterations you have to make to get it to work on this SR 120? If you are new to helis, I'd recommend that you start with the stock set up and get used to how it flies before doing any mods.

Ok spreadsheet wizard, I have a sheet that I'm using to track my batteries, it has a column (column E) for the after flight voltage, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to have a column with your formula to give me the remaining %

I get it set up and get some wacky number, like 365.6453 for an ending voltage of 3.78
