Yes, it works fine the DX6i. It is handy to have a little double sided tape. This holds things in position while closing it up.

Here are some instructions: http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=339313

There is a YouTube video as well. Search for it. I followed the video and had no trouble putting it in.

Jake, there's a bunch of DX6i back-light vids on YouTube that show the disassembly of the entire unit.

I love flying my 120SR and I think I have a pretty good handle on it.
I can't hover my SR or any CP on the sim.
Here's me flying the 120SR in a 6mph +/- breeze:

It doesn't look like it goes in from the inside.

Ah, yes, you might be right... haven't looked at mine. Does it seem like it's stuck on from the outside with psa (pressure sensitive adhesive... aka sticky stuff)? ... might have to pry it up with a knife, if so.

Maybe give HH a call if you're unsure

I was just looking at mine...it looks like it's probably stuck on from the front... can't be 100% positive, it still could be fastened from inside... definitely removes from the outside though.

Nice find... might get me one of those
