Boards looks like a 60 year old drag queen but apart from that one issue work like a charm
The antenna wire looks like it is way to close to the battery plug wires.

Now look for "Find All Attachments by North_of_49." Click that and all the pictures you ever submitted will be displayed. When you find the picture, it will tell you where the post is at. Now click the picture and it will bring you to that post. Now you can make it a "single post" and then copy and paste the link. If you do it this way the picture can still be enlarged. But most importantly, you can find your own pictures you submitted very quickly

Yes, Mike... that's the first thing I did...looked through my attachments 3 or 4 times and didn't see it

Be careful using a solder sucker on boards with tiny surface mount components (if they are close to the thing you are heating up (ask me how I know!)

... your alternative is a desoldering braid (wick)

Thanks for the note. The antenna wire was another thing I messed around with. I will fix it up tonight as the place I am sending the board to want me to put the servos back on and I really need to remove some excess solder that looks ridiculous with my solder sucker.

Thanks for the tip. Sucking up a component is something well within my capability so any advice is gratefully appreciated. I keep saying this but I need to get a specialist solder kit for models. It would have helped me yesterday as my nokia 900 charging jack came loose which apparantly is a common problem and I just made a complete mess trying to sort it out so now im sending it to someone to fix it. The price was very reasonable just hope I havent messed it up trying to fix it myself.

Been tracking BD 120SR and it is definitely on route so I should be officially part of the club again very soon and all being well with my other board I could end up with two of them put at this point I'm writing one of as just to be used for spares. Which is fine with me. I just really need a working one to take down the park and let loose instead of messing around in gardens/tress rooms/wall/lamps etc

SR120Fan When you finally receive the 120SR from BD, I can assure you this....It will fly spot on using the TX he sent you. It will be perfect! He doesn't even know the definition of "half azzzed"....it's not in his dictionary

I have no doubt. That's why I've taken another one off his hands!! He's also throwing in a 5in1 that I might or might not get to work. If successful it will leave me with three working 120SRs!! Greedy I know

The first one he sent is now officially in the country according to the tracker so any day now and we're in business

Cheers BD

Oh and to top it off I get to use the mCX2 bought for my birthday in 6 days time. Should keep me out of trouble for a little while assuming I don't crash one into someone's childs head

Yeah I will take a look but I was really after a new one but even now I know it is definitely discontinued I think the hunt it on for something else. As much as I would like something that was similar to my 120SR, maybe something like the mCX will be enough to get my fix when flying outside is not possible.
I'll just leave this here for you

This might be a silly question. But does your left stick go left and right or just up and down? If so then it's 4 channel? I'm no expert but all my three channel helis i've destroyed will only have up and down on the left stick.

Off topic

My heli from BD has arrived!!!!!!!!! I checked tracking and it wasnt meant to come until Monday and was still at the airport or where ever the international hub is.

I completely forgot that he threw in the charger as well and despite your silly 110V system The charger knows better and will work with 240V in a shaver socket and I have a few multi-adaptors luckily so no worries there.

All checked over and goes like mine did in the first ten minutes of me owning it. Have learned my lesson and will get it down the park as soon as possible. Far too windy now, but it's the weekend and no work so fingers crossed we get something resembling flyable weather

BD really is the man!! Cheers bud
