Looks like a fun heli. Walkera also have the 450CP FBL on their site http://www.walkera.com/en1/particular.jsp?pn=V450D01

Pumping them out these days eh!

Hold on to your hats too...I think I see a naming structure. Blade size! Nooo...I liked the random use of symbols!

And another thing, best they put the tail bell crank link on properly (pic 4) before they make their promo vid!

Independant Review by JHawk19's: Lots of great info and pics.

Remember when they released the 4G3 and the word "helicopter" was misspelled on the side of the boom! They still have the word "automatic" wrong on the sticker on the 2801 Pro, so I don’t think they care much about promo accuracy And at least get someone who can form a sentence in English so we dont get stuff printed on the box like
"Pushing stick forward will give those who buy heli reward with happy, delightful flight, fun like monkey on sunny day!"

What is the deal with the radio? What are they doing with that knob they show in the insert pic? You pick a function and then tune it? Any prices suggested yet? This is a flybarless 4G6?

I believe this is quite a bit bigger.

No, this is a 200 size fixed pitch 4 channel. Thats the new 2303 TX which has Dual Rates and expo capability. This ones bigger than the 4G6 and closer to the Gaui or T rex 250 size

Walkera promo vids never really show much as far as the true cability (or lack thereof) of their products. Its always hard to tell if the the heli really has issues or if the pilot is just bad. Almost all of their vids are boring hovers.

We know it can be made to fly well. There is already the 4G6 with an aftermarket flybarless head that is working well with their 3 axis gyro setup

Hey guys. I have test flown one of 3 in the world. It flies okay. It is the same platform/size as the current 180Z. I like the canopy though. LOL. You can see in the vid that it has a tendency to get a little wobbly and outdoors is another story...The new 2403 Tx has DR/Exp adjustments that are controlled by the switch. It goes from 100% servo throw to 50%. Nothing in between. The knob and switch on the left are for the hover throttle adjustment. You can assign a throttle amount for comfortable hover and keep from accelerating into the ceiling by limiting throttle response. At least that is what it was designed for. I have not used it since I need all the throttle available to flight test her. The FBL rotor head is metal and the grips are plastic (for now). Yes, there is a way to get her to fly really, really well but that is WIP.

I wonder if they'll release a cp this size. It won't take much to change it into a cp and it'll be good for flying in front of the house.

dkfuji - Since you seem to have some sort of inside track, have you also flown the new V450D01? If so how does it fly?
