HT,

Yes I watched that on the news last night on the internet, very sad. Sorry to hear of your family being affected, It is a small world in the aviation family. Tragic accident, and for so many pilots on board. My prayers are with the families at this time.

Thanks guys, it is just bee hard on the family and such. Now my grandma REALLY doesn't want me to fly.

But anyway on a happier note, I have seen the video before of that Cessna. I am amazed at the ease with which that landing was done. Truly a prepared and trained pilot.

And JT, those were some interesting videos. I have never really cared much for war. Who would have thought that in less than 100 years we could go from the idea of steam engine airplanes to the B-52. Just a marvel of engineering.

I also don't celebrate War but in our world it is a inevitable.

War for America, is a neccesary evil. It is like why does a Policeman carry a gun? Because a good person with a gun is a deterant to the evil person. Sometimes the evel person shots first then it is up to the Policemen to stop them, usually that requires more guns and firepower, but stop them we must. If we didn't Communisim, Totalitarianism and Anarchy would have destroyed civilization long ago.

We as a nation right after WWII were the only ones who had Nuclear weapons, we could have obliterated the rest of the world and taken over, but that is NOT what good people do. Believe me if Hitler or Tojo had nuc's first we would NOT be here.

Sometimes you have to Thank God, we have a little more power than the bad guys.

Nobody in their right mind likes WAR, but to let the commies and talibums (they don't deserve capital letters) win or gain a foothold is UNACCEPTABLE.

If they were to witness this (as did japan) a few times something in their small mind might click.

WE DON"T WON'T TO MESS WITH THE USA

Hey Roger, did you finally get the Bearcat to land on the carrier or is this right before it did the inevitable nose over?

HT,

I still have not landed the Bearcat on the deck, I'm sure with maybe 50 knots of wind over the deck maybe.......That was what I thought a perfect touchdown but appearently it hopped over the wires. Looks good in the pict JT took.

I'll post a link when I find them again. I've got so many planes in here I have to go back and refresh my memory.
I've tried to e-mail but the files are too big.

Ed,
Here is the Bearcat: http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=145084

This is one of the Corsairs I have: http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=145020

A good place for aircraft. Just make sure is is for FSX and the complete package not just a texture. http://www.flightsim.com/home.htm

Had a quick session tonight with JT and Roger.

I need to finish downloading all the planes I have bookmarked so I can see you in the planes you are actually flying.
