I really like the layout of that panel, everything seems to fall to the eye right where you expect it.

Haha, thanks, I was bored and I love you tube so naturally I found some nice back-country footage. My Uncle lives in Macall,ID and works for the USFS so I wonder if he has ever flown in there.

Here is a picture of my GPS added to the panel of the Cessna 177RG
Looks good Roger.
Here is the one we talked about. This is 100% better.

Here is the panel of the Diamond Star I used to fly up at Sterling Flight Training at Craig. Pretty darn close.

My DA-40 repaint and some fun flights for practice. I'm liking it more each time.

Had a good session, I forgot as usual to get my pics.

I totally messed my graphics up the other day. I was trying something out and I forgot my original settings and now I am having to go in and adjust one thing at a time until I can get back to maximum performance.

I was a little disappointed when I flew out of Wilson Bar airstrip, THERE ARE NO TREES! It is just a dirt strip on a flat dirt area by a really small "stream." No matter what I did, it just looked bland. a total disappointment. Still fun though because of the terrain, had some fun landing on all the mountains with the Bellanca Scout.

Here are some pics from the past, from last nights session, and tonight's flight.

I logged on for an hour and a half or so but no one else showed up. I flew around the Sierra Nevada's in Northern California. I flew from Trinity Center, which is right on the shore of Trinity Lake over to Lake Shasta then on to Redding Mun. Airport.

After that I flew in Alaska. I flew from McKinley Park airport north up some deep valley and landed at 2 other airports. I really love the Maule. Even though FSX messed up the flight dynamics, it is still a really fin airplane to fly.

Nice pictures there JT. I hadn't flown the F-14 in a LONG time so it was good practice. I really enjoy the challenge of carrier landings, plus takeoffs with the cat are FUN.

Tonight I had a good flight until JT said "What is that big red button for". Well it shuts off the engine even though it says Horizon Emergency on it. Then I went to start the engine it would not start but it did start to roll and then took off at about 50 knots and I was trying to hang on I hit a button and the canopy and side door opened up, and I was flying around buzzing the airport with all this wind noise and the prop not turning.......it was too much I had to call it a night. Will try again tomorrow night.

I joined in the session tonight and I don't know if my mic wasn't working or what, but I couldn't hear you guys if you were talking. I tried talking to JT a few times but I never got him,

My turn in the A-10 good flying plane, maximum flap deployment speed is 200 kias and the stall is 100 kias. So in that zone around 130-140 it sets up nice for landing, I don't throw out the boards until just before touchdown. It will stop short and sweet. The cannon leave tracer marks on the ground where they hit, pretty cool.
