Hi all,
Still haven't figured out the unzipping thing then saw JTs offer above...thanks man, that'd be really helpful! Let's set up a time, I'm sending you a PM after I type this...

so here's a question...do I have to like be a super-good-jet-pilot to fly with you guys? I'm not terrible and can land/takeoff when I want to, but I'm sure as heck not an expert! Another question I have is do I need the Acceleration pack to fly the downloadable f-14 tomcat and all those?

thanks
-Max

Hey Max,
I'm on the PC now as I type.
All you really need is to get in the cockpit and have some fun. The Jets as the Warbirds need to be flown more so than a Cessna but anyone can do it in FSX.
As for as Accelerator; some planes you may not see all gauges and you will not have as many to choose from in the regular package.
You will still have planes to fly and we all have certain planes if we want t fly the same type.
As far as the Tomcat I think you will be OK with it as there are two downloads. One for Accelerator and the other for SP2!!!!!You will have to have SP2to fly with us but that can also be downloaded.
Thats alot onfo
I'll wait on your PM
Later

JT,

You got them "Tankers" figured out yet? My Tomcat is getting thirsty. I saw an A-6 for FSX that looks German on YouTube. But it looked pretty good, I'm going to try an find one.

Hey,
I'm working on it still..... I tried a couple of them planes you suggested and( pretty bad is all I can say).
Well the truth is they are not for FSX, I think maybe back around Windows 98(that is why we don't have gauges, see black and all that).
I'm still trying to get my gauges in the P-38, but haven't had the time to build(make them work in FSX)
Anyhow, here are a few pics from tonight flying alone.............

JT,

Here is the A-7 that I downloaded it is the best of the three that I tried. It has a plain 3D cockpit, but it flys pretty good.

Is that the plane where the wing raises up behind the cockpit?

Max,
That version is if you don't have Accelerator installed. If you are home give me a call around noon.

JT,

It was the Chance-Vaught F-8 Crusader that had the variable incidence wing. They look similar because of the intake, but they are night and day as far as mission and cababilities.

The F-8 was a mach 2 interceptor. and the A-7 was a sub-sonic bomber.

here's a pic of me flying. I noticed that you guys are right; some of the controls inside the plane are blank, but I can still easily control it. I really like this plane! Downloading an f/a-18 hornet as I type
