Well when my new HD stereo receiver for my home thaeter sytem arrives I may try FSX on my big 100 inch projection screen.
I'll have to have an IT buddy of mine help wire things up.
But the projector has a PC connection and two VGA connections.
So I'll have to build a stand or something to hold my yoke and rudder pedals
Maybe make myself a small cockpit like seat, with a panel to fasten the yoke to , and rudder pedals too.
Then fly with a "big screen" in front of me!
So far this new LED projector is fantastic!
Hooked a blu ray DVD player to it and the picture is incredible!
Even non-blu ray DVD's look much better when played on the blu ray player.
My old Pioneer receiver took a dump Saturday, but it's almost 20 years old, and doesn't have any of the newer hi-tech hookups on it.
I purchased ( ordered) a Sherwood RD-705i 7.1 receiver which has all the new stuff on it.
110 watts per channel, PC hookup, super video hookup and HDMI hookups.
It had HD radio decoding , and about every kind of Dolby decoding on it.
So hopefully it will arrive soon and I'll get to work on designing a seat for the yoke and pedals.
My PC is in my "aviation" room and the screen and projector are in the living room, so I'll have to route cables from one to the other
So that's where my IT buddy comes in!
C ya all later!

surely those are add-on clouds!? And the scenery is overly lush also!(for stock fsx) More info please!!!
Cables thru wall??? No problem!!! thats why I keep a sledge hammer handy!
(PS, had a late 60's Pioneer that went with me to the music store....wasn't long before we started using its 150w per side power to demonstrate the PA speaker boxes!! Such as one cabinet I recall that held 2 15" + 4 10" + 2 low-range & 2 hi-range tweets!(drove one cabinet per side plus the sub-bass!) Honkin!!!

I tricked you with that one, it is a "screen capture" from my video of a flight I took a couple of weeks back. It was just so pretty up there in the clouds that I wished I recreate that in FSX.
My FSX has to be turned down to make it smooth so the quality just is lacking. I wish it did look like that picture.
I know some of WJ's screen shots are pretty darned detailed.
