Mike,

One of the online Sim companies has a Turbine Otter on amphib floats and it is a monster. I forget which one but search for that plane. It is fun to fly.

BTW,
Middlesboro, Kentucky was the home of "Glacier Girl" the P-38 that was recovered and restored a while back. The airport is just to the NW of the gap.
I'd like to find "GG" to park at the airport!
Mike.

Tromping around my neighborhood Mike. I like to fly around Pine Mountain (we called it Pound Mountain) because it has Pound, VA on the other side. Jenkins, KY on our side. My Mom went to see Glacier Girl in Middlesboro just before it was finished and flying. I got the Hat....yeh.
Me and my daughter got to see Glacier Girl in person at Sun n Fun on Glacier first tour 2005..

AX,
My Dad went up to see one of its first flights, couldn't wipe that grin off his face for a month! (not that we wanted to)!
Still have a T-shirt he brought back.

Only #1 is payware ($16.00 on sale). #3 must be for FS9 as that black at bottom is always there.
I thought I had a Glacier Girl but can't find it, will look in #3 PC and see if I left it there.

Your Dad was lucky to see one of the original flights. I saw the Documentary on PBS about it and it looked cool......cool and rainy on the first flight. I glad someone had the money to get her up and flying. Wish we had more of those old warbirds flying.
