There is also "cumulusX" for generating better than default thermals and "simprobe" to generate slope lift.
I've always enjoyed soaring, even to the point of jumping off a cliff in a hang glider!
(Gave it up when I realised how hard it was to find someone to drive to the bottom to pick me up!) But I never ventured into full scale sailplanes, only R/C. ($$$$$)

Decided to fly around St Barts (TFFJ), was surprised until I remembered I haven't loaded the "caribbean tours" scenery pkg. yet!
It looks a lot better than default FSX.

Yea, I think the designers just stick objects anywhere. I'm redoing our runways at 42J to look more like whats there.

software, comes with the higher version of FSX. You can buy it serarate.
