Bad Maiden
Soooo, I know I posted my build pics a while ago, but never got to maiden my plane...until yesterday. I was bound and determined to fly yesterday, no matter what the circumstances. All my favorite flying areas were populated so drove around 45 minutes checking alternative sights. Long story short, it was real windy yesterday 10-15mph so I probably shouldn't even have been out there. Wind took her, pulled her down wind and I was between 3/4 to full throttle just to get her back near me all the while she would get flipped over and pushed farther away. After fighting for a couple minutes, got close enough to attempt a landing, wind grabbed ahold and flipped her nose first into the ground. Surprisingly, a very clean break right in half behind the trailing edge through the whole fuse. Easily repairable, but not a good first flight
