it was definately rubbing the the spring across the top of the front pivot.
without setting it up again, i think it had clearance at straight ahead position, but started rubbing at about 15deg either direction.
and was easily catching the washer supplied in the kit.
and as a plus
the dampers are alot easier to get at to make adjustments

I finally get my SB-5 yesterday
I have a problem with the fitting of the front shocks in the lower position. I can only use the front hole. If I use the holes in the middle or the rear ones, the shocks will collide with the bracket for the side support. (Step 7 & 8 in the manual).
Is there anyone else having this problem?
Now I will just wait for the snow here in Sweden to disappear
I atteched some setups I found on internet.

mine is the same
...that would be why the manual says to install the shocks in the front hole
there are +5mm side plates listed in the option parts, i assume these would allow you to change the hole position,(rising rate)
can you confirm the difference in side plates?
PD09-0018 (-5) listed as spare part in manual
PD09-0026 (+0) listed as option part in manual, and listed as (+5) on back of box??

The +5mm (Prototype Parts from 2009 I have here) give you more room and you could use the outer holes.
I wouldnt use them because the bracket then easily breaks. The Ballhead screw rips out of the part in the case of a crash. Just leave the Ballhead there where it is as described in the Manual. Changing the position doesnt really change anything in the handling of the bike.

I crashed the SB5 badly this morning (o yea! my driving skills!) and... can't find a part number for the front brake disc...

And the wheel, too, but that's already found easily...
Oh and the tire! It's... blown!!! hahaha!

Okay just checked with TT Europe the Brake comes as KIT.
Its an issue that will be worked on: Discs as single Spare Part.
I DONT know when this is going to happen:
But I will try and make a few (most possible) out of Glassfibre and will try to sell them to Gregor.
SO WHO NEEDS BRAKE DISCS for the SB5?

Wrote Gregor a mail, hope he wants to sell them.....
This is what it might look like:
2mm (instead of the 2.5) "hightemp" Glassfibre stuff I use on my bikes.
I didnt ruin a single one in a whole season...
I found that a bit better in the dry than Carbon Fibre.
Once they are "broken in" they have a very consistent feel throughout a run.
Only in Lostallo I had trouble but that was because the Servoarm started melting :-)
