Thanks Chris. What battery setup do you like so far? I'm thinking maybe the
8s setup would give you a long flight if you manage the throttle really well.
I may give the Scorpion a try as well.

I like both the 7 and 8s setups. I will probably end up using 8s most often because I have more 4s packs and I like the extra power.

No, a lot of time when you get a plane in really high alpha knife edge, and your flying at very low speed, you have to be all over the elevator to keep it going straight. I've had some planesthat bucked and complained so much that that elevator movement was very
significant.

Mine arrived today in perfect shape. From GA to WA perfectly intact.

Pleasantly surprised of the inclusion of a canopy cover. The wing bag holds both wings and the CF tube with lots of room and padding. You would think that this would have been a purchased option for petes sake.

Very nice kit and the price point is awesome!

I see a potential price war heating up here in the 70" category.

Perfect plane for my Scorpion 4035-380 on 6s

Been out of town on a business trip for a few days. Sorry for lack of
updates.

Flew the plane on Thursday night and really had a ball with it. Worked on some precision flying and dialed in the plane a little more. Unfortunately I had a problem with the ESC and it shut off on me. I haven't diagnosed it yet but I wouldn't be suprised if I
over heated it because it was a really really hot day. I'll be back in the air ASAP.

Has anyone considered popping in the Scorpion 4035-250Kv Motor instead of the 4035-330Kv Motor and, swigging a 20x10-APCE with more authority? Or would this just burn up the Amps way to fast? On 8 Cells of course. I am just getting ready to do the install on mine and would like to nail it..

I have a Scorpion 4035-250 in another 70" plane spinning a 20x10 apc e. It pulls about 2100 watts at 70 amps on 8S. Tons of thrust. ~20 lbs.
