If I'm not mistaken, Enterprise7 has the Hacker A60-6XS, which is a 370Kv, which also means 6S. Is it a 20 inch prop? Sure pulls like one. Nice vid, Cody.

ok i was about to fabricate the stand offs for the motor based on the information provided in the manual. the manual says 4 5/8" from face of motor box to drive washer. i dry fit the cowl just to check to see if that was about right.....lucky i did. with the cowl fit (flush with the back of F1) it's 6" from motor box to front of cowl (or to drive washer). then i realized that my motor box is half the size as all the other photos i've seen. i didn't like the fact i had to use 2" stand offs......they are actually going to be 3.5"! not happy about this.......obviously EF changed the design.....anyone else have this condition and is there a published distance for the "new" design? looking for the distance from the motor box to drive washer.

thanks,

bill

No 20x10 on the 380 on 6s please. Warranty goes bye bye with that much prop. Too many amps= too much heat. That would be really rough on your batteries and esc too.

Oh and 19x10 really is sweet on that setup. And if you want a bigger prop, you can drop the kv of the motor.

can someone also confirm (who has the long motor box) the distance from the centerline to the offset thrust line on the face of the firewall? mine is 1/4" and i'm wondering if that was not changed when the motor box extension was reduced.

thanks,

Bill

6.25" is the correct length. The thrustline offset is correctly laser scribed on the firewall.
We made this change when DLE changed their 30cc engine to a rear carb design as folks complained about having to recess the carb inside the motor box. We usually include a brief addendum that outlines this but obviously you did not receive it. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope these details get you taken care of.

True! (too much RC Today Show). I have the A60-6XS with a Hobbywing 100A Platinum ESC. Originally it was a ICE 100, but that had issues. Cody flew it to the 6 minute timer and we put in 4600 mah back into the 5300 Gens Ace 30C. Earlier in the day I was flying a Xoar 20x10 PJN, but I managed to damage it in a hard left ground turn to avoid the end of the runway. This flight was done on a APC 20x8 electric Rick lent me. Only pulling around 75 amps.

For standoffs I used 2x Evolution 38mm from the LHS. I drilled them out and used M5x100 or 90mm bolts. I know this is a $40 solution, but it was quick and easy and worked.

Let me see if I get tapatalk to work with a picture as I have one on my iphone.

anyone know where i can get 3.5" hex or round 3/8" aluminum standoffs w/ male/female ends? i don't want to spend $40-60 for anodized aluminum. i know there are tons of machine shops out there selling these for a couple of bucks a piece but i can't find one that will sell only 4.

no problem. take a look at the male/female hex standoffs. what's nice about those is you can screw them right into the blind nuts in the firewall and then screw the motor into the other end. you don't have that heavy 4" long bolt running thru the whole thing.
