So everything is Yellow!
Including the garage!
Oh, except Jim's wing!
That's all virgin white!

Your leading edge and wing tips have been sorted out!
I was a bit worried about your leading edge as I had used carbon tows there and I thought that I may have changed the profile a bit.
But, it looks fine!
For whatever reason...
You have a top hinged aileron.
(I don't want to become tooo.. consistent!)
It may not be in keeping with the wing design, but the 1st ZAlly flew fine like that, and generally the wing looks "nicer"
I also don't like the servos located on the top surface. (personal preference)
We are having a problem with stripped 9g Hex servos, and it is an indication that they are under stress. (Daron also stripped one on his last flight)
Sooo... The question is..???
Should we try a "under and over" set-up?
It'll perhaps help if the linkages are not exposed to damage....
What are your thoughts or preferences?
I'll post some pix of your wing tonight..
It's looking good!

I popped in to Slope Cafe to have a look at my Zally wing projected
Hope you like the stripes on the wing they are permanent

This is your wing Jim!
The carbon tows on the leading edge is because I thought you may need it!
I just love carbon!!!
But... in future I may skip this as I never get it to lay down flat without some twirls and in a straight line!
I got hold of your 3M 294 Transfer adhesive...
It doesn't work too well for me..
I ended up with it all over my fingers and the tows all over the place!
I think the 3M77 spray adhesive works quite well!
Not on the carbon tow, but as a bandage strip.
You have to spray both sides... leave, and apply!
And wets out well and contours the leading edge perfectly!
I do have a problem!
I'll post some pics of the Zapper wing that I'm having issues with...

I think you have to return it to the workshop for remedial work!
It does come out!
Sean sells old stock Brasso at a nominal fee...
The elbow grease you have to provide!

Back to the Zapper wing!
I sprayed the leading edge and that looked good until..
I tried to sand it and "feather" it back into the base coat!
I'll never get it right, as the base coat is more "translucent"
I'm just making a mess!
I may just have to spray the whole wing!
And you all know what damage I can cause weight wise when I get going!

that wing looks great, if you want to leave the LE alone (unpainted), thats OK, I think I have a scheme in mind with a different color for the leading edge anyway.
PS: Carbon is gooooood

He found out about "Joan"
That will save me some anguish!
I'm in George tomorrow, but when I get back I'll drop the wing off for you to see if you can do a better job than Kallie!

Carbon leading edges
Firstly well done on your slope soarers production line
I must say it's refreshing to follow the P.E. Slopers antics.
