Szally had her first flight after the extreme makeover she endured...

The CG for this 400g and plus is 30 mm from leading edge!
She was going like a cannon, she is well behaved now, after the BIG crash...

I believe that 25mm, as Sean says, will take care of 3mm up travel both wing sides (reflex or camber...? never know what is UP)...?

30 mm served me well today, safe landings great flying and no accidents to report! she lived to C another day flight!

Good to hear she's flying again, Layer.

In the northern hemisphere, up is reflex. I imagine it's the opposite in ZA!

I took Zally for an outing to Pole Cottage on the long Mynd today, I also took the camera.
Sorry about the quality but with the sun on the LCD screen it was impossable to see where the camera was pointing.
The wind at the time of the film was about 6 or 7 mph the lift kept coming and going even so Zally was a joy to fly.
Thanks to Les for flying her while I attempted to capture the event on camera.
Zally @ Pole Cottage, 21/08/11 (1 min 55 sec)

Cheers
Chris

Finally the video loaded!

It's a tough little plane to follow, Chris, and with cameras today with LCD screens and not being able to turn off the autofocus, technology has made it harder and harder to film.

But SHE FLIES -- AND WELL!

fubar, congrats

J, surgery looks good

I find, while capturing videos at air shows, if you just hold the camera close to your face, ignore the view finder, and just line up a spot on the outside of the camera, you can follow the airplanes pretty close......

Well done Chris!
Great to see your ZAlly flying!
Thanx to Les for swinging her around for you to film.
I tried to film J flying with his camera....had no idea what I was doing....also could'nt find the plane most the time...takes some practice!

FB,
I have a canopy for you.....so J does not need to cast you another.
