My only complaint is inverted flight in less than really good lift results in a lot of hyperstalling. But that's why my next plane will be a Swinger!!

I evaluate input from all available sources -- EVEN the S.L.O.P.E. Rebels. But I consider the source as to the quality of the data before I make any decision!!!

I cant say I've noticed any bad habits when inverted... unless you let the speed drop of course but then thats the case for any wing... you could try tweaking your cofg and elevator movement.

You going to love a swinger!

Yay! I thought the original ZAllys had all been killed by you nutters!

Thats the great thing and Sally, we went to a small DS site a few weeks back, we got there and the wind had slid way off slope and nothing would fly... I throw Sally off and she moves around as if the wind was bang on.... love it!

jejeejej Hopefully it flies better than a drunken sailor LOL

Now seriously the name come from the fact that CH are the initials for Switzerland and the syllable "Sch" is pretty common on the German language,

It seems that the build will start tomorrow I will post some pics as I go

sCHally is OUT OF THE BAG!!

HEllo Everyone,

well I am very excited, 5 hours of work and 12 hours vacuum bag later the first ever sCHally is out of the bag. I think for a first attemp is a very good result, thought not perfect. I used a yellow XPS I found in my local hardware store and it worked vey well. I single layer of GF 80g/dm2 and D-Box CF-UD 80g/dm2, I also put a wide stripe on the elevons to stiff them up, and has live hinge made with nylon cloth. the total weight per wing is around 62 grams, only 2 grams difference.

THe paint I used was can duplicolor, was in promotion :P, the result is not perfect but now I now that I will need more paint in the next one , the paint was perfectly transferred into the mylar and has a good finishing.

Still need some work on the tips and LE. the fuse is now curing and should b ready for work this night :P I am using slow WEST systems resing.

here are the pictures

regards

EZ

Been sitting back here in the corner for a while, quietly watching and learning. No time right now, but maybe this winter.....

Just wondering....what does this:
