I need a bit of advice here and its bluetooth related.

i have a 4 pin module its an JY-MCU VCC3.6-6v BT_Board V1.03 thats what it says on the back and its working fine.But i only have one and would like a reserve incase it decides to not work one day. It seems there could have been 6 pins but the two outer ones weren't soldered in, but they are still marked STATE and KEY

I have found a six pin one that seems the same except its v1.02pro and the STATE and KEY are soldered to pins.
Can i remove(or cut) the extra pins? and it still work.

I have a 6 pins BT module and all I ever use is the inner 4 pins. So you should be safe to cut the extra pins.

About BT module and android smartphone,I use the 4 pin device and 115200 bauds is perhaps the matter of interruption or out of working. I have tried to lower the speed of serial communication, and it does not at all because i do it even with line connection and i only work at that speed of , have you any idea. Anyway "Bon reveillon 2013"

I need some help with my new Multiwiicopter Paris V4r6.
I have only had the board for a short time and when I first installed it onto my QuadX it seemed to fly well with PH and AH and RTH all working ok.
It now wont PH or RTH and seems to rotate left several degrees, stop, rotate further in a continual progression.
I have calibrated the Mag ,Acc and Gyro several timed but this seems to make no difference.
All props, motors etc have been balanced.
I am running standard PID's that were loaded on the board.

Where do I start to promlem solve

Yep, cut them off.

Works for me with all phones I tested at 115200.
What is symptom?

I have a similar BT_module (v1.01) with 4 pins.
How can I change the baudrate on that ?
It's still set to 9600 baud.

Hey guys... I've been poking in and out of this thread to get my multiwii copter up and running.... It flies awesome but I have been noticing something that I can't really find any info on. Not sure if I missed it running through all the info here or not. For starters i'm using the ZMR Multiwii SE board. Currently not using the baro or the mag on the board. My issue is that if i'm in acro mode flying around the copter will some times pitch back to stop the forward motion. I can just give it more forward stick to kinda "override" this when I feel it coming. Was just wondering if there is a setting or PID value I missed somewhere to stop this?

On the Tri I have kind of overcome this by moving my CG forwards.
But have a look at the multiwii web site under software and there is some information about a rate setting in the gui beside the roll pitch boxes. This is the rate at which P and D are cancelled during manouvers. 0.4 gives some cancellation while 0.7 is good for aerobatics.
I have not tried it so let us know if it works ?

Add some I term on pitch.

Thanks guys, I'll give both them ideas a try. I've just been flying stock PIDs and it's been great other than the occational pitching up in forward flight. It's not bad just more annoying than anything.
