Hi guys...
Been out of multiwii for a few months and almost another 1000 pages... UAU...
Just wanted to know if someone is working on multiwii for a fpv plane. Specially rth...
This could be the cheapest thing for planes as it is for multis...
Got to get my quads flying again.

do anyone here using multiwii as a gimbal stabilizer? im trying to get my Crius lite on my cinestar gimbal. seems it always over correcting (if i tilt the copter to the right, the gimbal move to the left but too much) yeah i do decreased the P value but not so much different,

To get it working you need to decrease the Prop in the config.h tab

Hey everyone,
I am getting back into the quadcopter again. Is this Hobby King board any good?

Multiwii and Megapirate AIO Flight Controller w/FTDI (ATmega 2560)

The only seach I could find was saying the Baro isn't as good as some others.

Can't agree - have the Baro on another board and have to say it's OK! Will get some of these boards for me & friends as they seem to be a bargain!

@reinhpe. Thats good to hear, have one on order. I did find back on page 1920 or so where to get the firmware already written for this board. That will make it easier if it works ok. Do recommend the sonar sensor also for altitude hold?

woops, my bad. im increasing it

you're right decreasing it make it more acceptable
but, i notice decreasing it make the servo move slower, when im decreasing the contrain(tilt_roll_middle blablabla) on the output , the servo goes faster but over corrected again

Yes. I used coreless brush motors.
F1&F2 are dual n-channel FETs.
They supply MCU's pwm signal to each motors.

Sonar Sensor (like the one from HK) is only supported by MegaPirate sw in direct connection, for the MultiWii sw you need a I2c - Sonar! (And at the moment Sonar for MultiWii does not make too much sense, as it is not implemented in the Alt-Hold Code, only for Landing Lights!)

The GY-86 (MPU6050+HMC5883+MS5611) is working well in altitude hold but my Quadx isn't well controlling in fly height (used MultiWii 2.1). It will fly higher and higher in the circle time(1s). Had everyone use this board to controlling fly height?.

My gopro hero 3 Balck edition came in and immediately I fired up the 'ol DSLR and made a film of it on my Hexacopter. Tell me what you think.

Here is the Vampire Hex-H from multiwiicopter guys.

Its running Multiwii - with the hex-H update recently added. Shame on me for not posting it here before!!

It is a real blast to fly. If you fancy some thing a little different - this is the beast ...
A real presence and crowd puller, bags of power - smooth and agile.
Its the best copter in my hangar for sure .
