Just a little noob question. Does it matter if I get too big ESC's? My motors could get 18A with 10" props. But there aren't any esc's available near me. Only the 30A..

Does it use more from the battery with bigger ESC's or is it okay to use 30A? Any downsides?

Nope won't make any difference, bigger the better except cost and weight.

Update.... I added the 2 resistors and updated the config file and the GUI now streams properly without freezing. Thanks guys for all your help !!!

all values default except PosR P 3.6

Thank you for your test video.

The current Multiwii dev version can sense the NMEA serial GPS connected on the same serial port as GUI.
If your receiver has failsafe position configurable, you can set it to activate gps return to home when it fails.

Very cool video. Showing MultiWii is one of the best controllers on the market yet again.

r33 is stable for GPS functions latest dev has some bugs in GPS I think. .

I somehow knew you weren't going to just flip the switch and let it hover in PH all video long.

Next step: using PH failsafe, switching off the transmitter and on again to bind another quad - therefor "fly" 2 copters with only 1 radio.

I have a remzibi OSD/gps but not connected to my multiwii, also a nun chuck.
What would I need to get that system going with gps hold and return to home on my y4 ?

Excuse my ignorance but what is an "r33", are you talking about the dev version of the multiwii firmware ?
