She's not lookin' pretty!

I took the tape off and sanded off all the chipped and flaking paint to see how flimsy the broken fuse area was.... it ain't good. I'm going to have to put a little overtime into the fuse repair.

I'd much prefer to have a stronger front fuse section when I try again so I'll give it a buff and shine. All the ply peeled off so I'll glass it inside this time.

The wing has a new spar and is back on the wing saddle. It came up quite well actually. Just need to reconnect the aileron for that to be good to go again.

Well your fuselages have the same all kevlar layup so it makes sense. Looks like the innovative crumple zone design technology worked perfectly......lol

CN: This is round 2 of repairs to the fuse and wing. Smashed it - fixed it - smashed it again.

I haven't grabbed the video from my friend who took the footage from last weekend as yet. I'm looking forward to the ACI review of the morning.

pdawg: I might provide a Smash repair Shop for rebuilds to the crumple zone for any Electrolytes that go in!?...

I know, I know... I've dorked it in so many times it's getting hard to keep up, right?

Got the fuse fixed and she's tough now. I just applied some spakfiller to smooth out the bumps and dips running along the fuse walls so that's busy drying ATM.

I've applied state of the art techniques to the repair process in my hi tech workshop... yup! A lump of wood, clamp and a lump of steel.

If it works it works!

By the way, it is 2011 now, how about bumping the size of your embedded photos up a notch. Up it to 800 or 1024. Not printing quality, just a little bit bigger so we can see better
