If that looks like mach 2 then its time for you to stop flying piper cubs and slow sticks...lol. It lands at about the same speed of the micro stinger...nothing crazy. The Gordo was much hotter on final!

it just looks like its landing fast....its so small( the size of a bret racer) but its really only landing as fast as a alfa sabre or mig. lands slower with the smaller packs. these landings were at 14.5oz. at 13, it has a little nicer glide.

Brent I think the these numbers might be low? I used 65 degrees for temp, but many of the passes were cruising or the throttle was cut but I am getting 92-94 on many. It looks way fast tan that to me though? I thought they were in the 105 range. Has anyone else dopplered any of the passes yet?

Bob, I thought Brent mentioned to me on Friday that he figured it was doing around 95?

65 degrees is pretty much where the temp was that day.

well, it did 90 at 4,000 asl, so mid 90's make sense

thanks again for the awsome vid jon! and thanks to bret for bringing this project to light.


you guys think mine fast...wait till dave gets his in the air with over 100 extra watts!!!!!!! :O

Meanwhile, I put the green back on this evening. Ran out of rattle can so it's a little light. It should've got another coat but this will have to do for now.

Brent, she seems to be very quick and touchy with the biggest wingload. Seems she tip stalled during the second landing, didn't she ?
