Miss my Apprentice! That truely was a beautiful plane to fly. All my planes are around the 1m wingspan, the Apprentice was a beast at 1.5m wingspan! Bigger truely is better, just a shame they also cost a lot more also!

Mountain models dust stik, perfect Sunday flyer. Set up a lawn chair in front of my house and take off. Have a cup of coffee in the morning while flying. 750ma two cell lipo good for about fifty minutes of flying. I use a 12mm inrunner with a GWS a A gearbox.

Switchback!

My well worn and much abused Switchback Sport!
Will put around low and slow. Glides in power off like a feather and with some power on makes great touch and goes. Then flip to high rates and it can turn and burn and still not bite you.
NO bad habits! Easy to fly and it flies on cheap equipment too.
I was doing verrry tight turns last night low and slow. Never a hint it would stall or snap. Then throttle up and go vertical.

Cant think of a better plane for all around sport or "Sunday" flying.
I do like my Pico Tigermoth too.
Just does not have as many facets to it's personality as the Switchback Sport.
