Telemasters.... from Micro to the 12 footer. I have a 6' and the 12' and both are slow, stable and fun, but you can still cut up with them a little bit if you wanna. www.hobby-lobby.com has them all.

Laine.

Surprised nobody has mentioned the E-flite Taylorcraft! Thats a beautiful plane to fly, handles like a super cub, but can pull off some fairly good aerobatics when you want to step it up a little.. Beautiful looking plane.

Have to say though, my all time favourite is my PZ Corsair, Ive put lights on it so that I can fly after others are packing up. There is something special about flying your plane right on sunset when its starting to get dark. So peaceful!

The Eflite Jenny is what I'd say qualifies as does the Pico Tiger Moth, HZ Champ, PZ Citabria, or any of these types.

Just lazy no stress flying. Thats what a "Sunday Flyer" is.

My Sunday flyer type model was my Searching 400, 1m span electric glider, but that was before she met her demise in a horse-fly-related incident.

I don't currently have a Sunday afternoon floater in the fleet, my Sunday models areall aerobats. Hmmmm, better do something about that. .

Hobby Zone Super Cub ...

Mine is brushless so I can just float around ... then if I am feeling crazy ... hover it over the runway.

The Old Farts hate to see a Super Cub hover.

E-flite Apprentice. Slow, but can go fast, forgiving, easy aerobatics, big, looks great against the sky, real visible, and you can fly it way up high or way out there, since it's so big and visible.
