600 Agusta/Stingray Build

Here's the new project. Pretty straight forward no retracts. Trusty old flight tested belt T Rex 600 for the mechanics. Overall very nice fuse. Starting in the nose. My pilots are just a bit small but since there chicks i can get away with it. I might repaint the uniforms but who know. Lots of plastic parts to cut fit then glue. I taped the windows in place just to check the fit. I just love all the room to work with in this one.

Been awhile so here's the update. The mechanics are in but may need to shim them up a bit. Hoping to testing next week.

Finally got this thing close to getting airborne. Need to set up some time a the "warehouse test center" for testing. Hoping sometime this week. Turned out pretty good for a stand off scale. Now lets see if it flies.

At least you don't have anything else to fly !
Hey that is my kitchen table, my wife would kill me if I worked on it. I have my own table to work on, which if I ever get my 5 bladed head I will be doing on my 500 Magnum project I started on last January

The only way I get away with it is she's at work when I'm working in the kitchen. If I get caught I'm dead meat.

Got it in the air last night. We left off the rear wing in case we had to pull the mechanics again if issues occurred. Well none did. This thing is rock solid and feels really good. The tail wants to drift to the right very minor and I don't think it's a major issue. I might have some video later but here's a few stills.

It pays to have a friend who has a huge warehouse. When the weather is bad we just go there and fly small helis and foam planes. I just like testing set ups in there because there's no variables to deal with. This one was dialed in right from the start.

I setup three warehouses ranging from 50,000 to 200,000 sq.ft. with 36' ceiling clearance in the 90's. But, I had no time for RC stuffs then.
