Nice revival work!
Years ago I splattered a Bridi Kaos .60 on the runway. I pulled the engine and gear out and tossed the rest of the plane in the trash can. A week later a flying buddy was back out at the field with my repaired airplane and laughing and thanking me for the "free airplane."
On his first flight he strained it through a dead tree. After that everyone figured the plane must be jinxed and left it in the trash.
