Thanks CJ,
Did you have to reverse the shaft to get the can inside the pod?

Direct brushless drop in replacement. Use with apc 6*4E
Easy option!

Not the most efficient, but I've had plenty of flights over 30 mins.
Thanks I'll check it out

I did say it wasn't the most efficient ! But it's a straight drop in.

Have had flights over an hour on a 2200, but normally 30 mins would be an average.

And after you're done with that motor you can put it in a Funjet

You need to reverse the shaft to fit the prop and get it in the pod. I reckon with good throttle management you could be up a hour and a half with the setup I was using, my bird weighed in at 1200 grams, the non FPV reccomended weight is 720g, the plane didn't mind the weight increase till the small elevator horn contact area let go and binned it into the deck. Still, the keda is going into my second one, do note all these posts refer to the easy star 2. you could save a lot on my birds weight, it was more a test rig than anything else.

Oh yeah... of course it was, nothing fishy at all!!

Can't wait to get the X8 up, with the light systems, its crazy electronics assisted fly by wire, hieght and strength capabilities the skies are gonna be filled with some odd sightings lol.

I definately want to try cloud seeding, been wanting to do that for 2 years... but I was wondering... I wonder if food colouring could be used to dye a cloud??

Can't be as bad as whatever it is they are up to with the ChemTrails projects.... Barium anyone? madness.

Well I'm guessing that the EZ 2 has a motor mount, whereas the EZ 1 does not and requires you (as stock) to glue in the speed 400? I have seen loads of mods for outrunners.. Could you point out one (or even take a pic of yours!) that would be the easiest and most effective so that I know what i'm aiming for?

Thanks
Jim

Which easystar did you get? The easystar two has a nice plastic mount that forms into the body and has a plastic cover that fixes on adding strength and covering the motor. If RCGroups would let me I'd add a pic from my iPhone or iPad. The mac is in the firm hands of the Missus tonight :P. you should be able to find a pic online but basically it holds a 28 size motor.

Easy way of uploading pictures on forums is just by using the imgur app ( exists on android not sure about iphone), then just copying the url and add tags. That's what I do .
