Out of interest is there anybody on here that is also on the BFPVMFA forum too??

Been flying FPV for the last couple of years. Live in Crowthorne, Berks. Recently stacked my favourite FPV plane and am in the process of gathering bits for a Trenerka.

Shed- you can't be far from me then?
I also travel past Stealths favoured launching field 2 to 4 times a week!

Gordon

Hi munkyboy, I wasn't even aware of the BFPVMFA. I've just looked at their site and they claim "We can provide 5 million public liability insurance cover for all of your flying, FPV or otherwise, at home or in Europe."

For 15/year, that's got to be a bargain!

Hi my I'm Ben, been lurking here for a few months, I'm just starting FPV. I have already built a MPX Easy Glider Pro and converted it to pusher, thrust angles tested and all fine. I have just bought a 1.3ghz 800mhz video tx/rx and KX131 camera. Buying some fat sharks this week and will be ready to fly with the basic setup. Im going to be buying an OSD and UHF radio system as soon as I can afford them.

Hi my name is Giles. I hale from Northwich (Cheshire). I've been into FPV flight for sometime now. It started with FPVing a trex 450....jesus, what with range issues and short flight times it was next to useless. I finally built an Ez* and equiped it with:
BL Tornado 2200 or 2700kv (I can't remember)
CC Pheonix 45 esc
rudder & elevator use HS81
ailerons use MG65
vtx is a 10mW 2.4 Ghz
rx Thomas' LRS
RvOSD gen4 (just upgraded from gen3) with 2 FMA sensors
12v/5v PSU (from FPVuk)
SportBec
Ez TinyTelemetry
Globe Flight pod
OSC Camera 1/3" SONY CCD 420 TV line camera
2 x 2500 3s batteries

GS:
Oracle diversity
2 x 707 rx's
Ezantenna tracker with an 8dBi CP (just upgraded to an 11dBi CP) mounted on the P & T and a 3dBi rubber duck.
I use the TrackR2 headtracker.

Oh and I use the VR1400's for flying and record using an Archos AV500.

Hi Guys...
My name is Bernhart based in Milton Keynes. I have been flying FPV for about a year now,
Trying to keep it simple, I use 2.4GHz VTX (although I bought a couple of chinese 1.2GHz) any cameras from e-bay vendors, and a blackstork OSD 1
I like to fly on goggles.

My planes are:
-Radian
-Tempest flying wing
-Skywalker
-Homemade/designed EXPLORER (nitro power)
-and twinstar

I am really going FPV mad here...My favorite pass time (apart from my wife )

I'm in Mid Devon.
Also on BFPVMFA.

Off to my man cave to build my VTx & VRx as my 5.8GHz Rx's just turned up today after being on back order for a few weeks.

Nigel.

Just getting started in FPV

I'm just getting started on FPV

I'm in reading in Berkshire.

Planning to get started using an old twinstar running brushed motors
using a readymaderc Pan and tilt mount that i'm assembling right now however it will have to be controlled by knobs on the transmitter as its a JR 35mhz one.
I'll be using a 1280mhz 800mw transmitter from sunsky with a cheap sharp ccd board camera. First flight will hopefully be this weekend.

Gordon, that makes two of us (or a FEW of us)?? Sweet looking platform the Trenerka (or "Black Angel" as its more recently been REnamed).
Plan to make a purchase and graft all my gear onto it shortly. The best planes are often the most simple in design..

rcmonster - you dont fly at Manor Farm flying club by any chance? Or know a guy called Frank who also flies FPV with a Radian - or is that YOU! lol?

No I don't fly there but in Milton Keynes near Beachampton... Frank is my flying buddy who I refer to in my various adventures on my videos. I collided with him a couple of times, I keep chasing him on the videos and basically I introduced him to the FPV world. I even bought the equipment he has on his behalf from electronicarc.com .
We keep on teasing each other and being adventurous. our next project is FPV aerotow.
we are getting geared up for it

So by that I guess you are one of the two guys that fly at lunchtime near Hanslope and you have a flying wing with eagletree OSD ?
We will have to meet one day
