Hi munkyboy, I wasn't even aware of the BFPVMFA. I've just looked at their site and they claim "We can provide £5 million public liability insurance cover for all of your flying, FPV or otherwise, at home or in Europe." For £15/year, that's got to be a bargain! |

Hi my I'm Ben, been lurking here for a few months, I'm just starting FPV. I have already built a MPX Easy Glider Pro and converted it to pusher, thrust angles tested and all fine. I have just bought a 1.3ghz 800mhz video tx/rx and KX131 camera. Buying some fat sharks this week and will be ready to fly with the basic setup. Im going to be buying an OSD and UHF radio system as soon as I can afford them.

I use the TrackR2 headtracker. Oh and I use the VR1400's for flying and record using an Archos AV500. Cadders |

Just getting started in FPV
I'm just getting started on FPV
I'm in reading in Berkshire. Planning to get started using an old twinstar running brushed motors ![]() using a readymaderc Pan and tilt mount that i'm assembling right now however it will have to be controlled by knobs on the transmitter as its a JR 35mhz one. I'll be using a 1280mhz 800mw transmitter from sunsky with a cheap sharp ccd board camera. First flight will hopefully be this weekend.

Sweet looking platform the Trenerka (or "Black Angel" as its more recently been REnamed).Plan to make a purchase and graft all my gear onto it shortly. The best planes are often the most simple in design.. rcmonster - you dont fly at Manor Farm flying club by any chance? Or know a guy called Frank who also flies FPV with a Radian - or is that YOU! lol?

[/QUOTE]No I don't fly there but in Milton Keynes near Beachampton... Frank is my flying buddy who I refer to in my various adventures on my videos. I collided with him a couple of times, I keep chasing him on the videos and basically I introduced him to the FPV world. I even bought the equipment he has on his behalf from electronicarc.com . We keep on teasing each other and being adventurous. our next project is FPV aerotow. we are getting geared up for it ![]() So by that I guess you are one of the two guys that fly at lunchtime near Hanslope and you have a flying wing with eagletree OSD ? We will have to meet one day
