Well, won't be blasting round in steep dives with the Bixler, will do good for chugging along!

Just updating the KK2 to OA2, then will give it a test!

Just put OA 2 on one of my spare KK's
Not really figured out how to set it up especially as I want to use it for the SSG on a flying wing set up with the ability to pan directly down

Will be interested to see how you get on with that. Might struggle to get enough movement to achieve 90 deg tilt down with the mechanical set up on the SSG.
I want to try the SSG on a fixed wing too at some point. At the moment I have got one on my folding quad using a MultiWii controller - which is ok, but not yet perfect. I got a KK2 board to act as a stand alone controller on the FW, but put it on my little quad first, to see how well it performed and like it so much it might just stay there!

Aye it is,

And to have it tilt facing down, might need a hinge system on the SSG baseboard,

Quick weight up, Bixler is nose heavy, as per usual if a GoPro is stuck on it... (can't wait to get the HoryzonHD V3)
KK2 is pushed back under the wings, battery goes right back, receiver gets stuck somewhere random, might even mount it outside the plane.

The gimble fixes onto the ply mount you can get for the Bix, just needs some trimming =D

That's one too many dodge. Hopfully the dragon hardware will keep your bird headed toward friendly skies. Just make sure you set it up and througherly test it in some stern winds to make sure she'll sail home every time.

The stock motor and esc are pants if I remember.
Have you searched for info on the group?
I found lots of help.
yeah had a quick trawl thru the many pages. 30a plush ESC ordered at the same time but will keep the stock motor for the time being.

will be keeping my setup simples and flying it LOS for a bit whilst I use my modified super cub as my 'not too bothered about losing or crashing' FPV learner
